Progress Report - 'new' Website
We are still working on the structure where our original intent was to do most of this
on-line, Owen is happy with that, but old habits die hard and I have to catch up on
lots of new development tools in his library. Reluctantly I have decided to get the
gloves off and get dirty, why? Well Rex Tate made a definitive and bold statement
about 'taking chances' at our last executive meeting and his excellent address turned
a couple of 'iffy' voters around - thanks for the vote of confidence Rex!
We are working with the 'very latest' in cutting edge technology, it certainly isn't
easy but we are getting there. Suffice to say that my foray into the world of
sponsorship has indeed been interesting. The necessary tools to facilitate a variety
of requirements for 'sponsor' packages will be built into the system (trade secret).
Our concept for 'getting more veteran groups involved' directly has survived the
initial four rounds of develop & test and we can say with confidence that it all works!
We still have a long way to go as we learn to use these 'new' tools, and, the first major hurdle has been eliminated, now we have to link it all together.

Owen Brunker front on.
He has been talking as he solves the problems I create and is very subtle
as he reminds me just how much 'out of touch' I am. Sunday he came to my place to make me
feeling at ease, even brought his own 'backup device' - tried to embarrass me and when I showed
him my workspace I had four 'backup systems' in place - score 1 nil to me.
