Well let me tell you guys that while I am getting all those chilly days out here at Bathurst, 200+ 'vets' have already hit off in
absolutely beautiful weather at Coolangatta on the East & West courses - good luck people!

We are waiting for news from Lower North Coast and the Sandgreen Championships at Trangie - will be here shortly!

Word from Brian Wilson is that 288 'vets' are participating in this weeks event, they had a
very successful shotgun on Monday and 300+ attended the BBQ & the presentations for the
first two days last night. As usual the usual big crowd will be at the dinner on Friday,
around 280 are expected to enjoy another great evening.

President Des Coady has been making his presence felt at Coolangatta and the local press will
be doing an in-depth interview sometime today. Perhaps we can expect a 'big' announcement
from Des who is really starting to enjoy his golf again.
