As usual this Championship was an outstanding success from the hospitality side with a very
friendly atmosphere and excellent food that has been a trademark of this event for many
years, and this was no exception.

One hundred and twenty eight golfers from 29 clubs throughout NSW and Queensland
participated but there was rain on the Thursday and while the rain is very welcome anywhere
right now, it was enough to have a few dropouts for Fridays events. As you can see
the winners could not be seperated and were declared Joint Winners of the NSWVGA Shield.
