Runner-Up:- Lyn MORRISON (Coolangatta/Tweed) 68 pts

Thanks to tournament director Brian Wilson for the prompt results and he was very pleased with the event overall, he was
particularly pleased with the 'Shotgun Start' which went off extremely well, the dinner as to be expected was excellent and
Brian was sought out by many individuals who wanted to congratulate him and his team on the event.

Unfortunately I opened my mouth many moons ago and said I would always be totally unbiased in my reporting of events and
news, from the executive meetings to the golf course - so I will stick to my word!

The attendance of Des Coady it seems has been a resounding success with several newspaper interviews being
conducted leading up to and during the week. His address at the dinner was extremely informative and updated all and
sundry about what is happening with veteran golf now, and, in 2009.

From the webmaster I want to thank you Brian for your full co-operation during with this event and all the others in which you
have played a leading role, your dedication and determination to get it right is an example to us all..... Webmaster

It also seems that one of the newspapers has taken an exceptional photograph of Des, boy I gotta see this - so no more
news until I've tracked that alleged photograph down.
