FOSSICKERS WAY 29/9/08 - 3/10/08

Day 1 at Bingar-a. The course was in excellent condition due to rain earlier in the month and the untiring efforts of the volunteers on the c-ourse. The same must be said of the other courses, Banaba on day 2 and warialda on Thursday. The final day at Bingara was followed in the evening with the present.ation dinner in clubhouse.

The number of starters was less than in previous years. Va..rious reason have been put forth as reasons, I noticed some familiar faces were absent but there were also some new ones.It was suggested that the spare week between Fossickers and Tenterfield may have been a deterrent.

Friday evening's dinner was a great success. The presentation of prizes was efficient. Many thanks to the c-aterers, the sponsors that make it all possible and the clubs that make their facilities available.

Congratulations and tharlks to Brian Drewitt and Phyllis for their work in putting it all together.
