And Away We Go With 2008

Before we start the year off with some golf I want to ask a favour from all our regular users, please people, spread the word about the website everywhere you go. At every tournament and with your regular 'vets' days. Unfortunately far too many tournament organisers do not follow our recommended guidelines, mostly because they are unaware these guidelines exist.

We received quite a few unfavourable reports during 2007 simply because some events or the distribution of trophies were 'out of sync' with the recommended NSWVGA event. The guidelines have been forwarded to every group secretary several times over the last couple of years, unfortunately many secretary positions change and all paperwork is not handed on.

We are looking at the issue of publishing these details on the website to avoid confusion, but that in itself causes other problems because only a small percentage of our 'vets' utilise this facility.

So good luck guys and gals for 2008 and these are the first events.
