{"id":1755,"date":"2020-05-09T19:05:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-09T09:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nswvga.com.au\/cms\/?p=1755"},"modified":"2024-03-10T15:47:54","modified_gmt":"2024-03-10T04:47:54","slug":"nswvga-response-to-co-vid-19-no-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nswvga.com.au\/cms\/2020\/05\/nswvga-response-to-co-vid-19-no-4\/","title":{"rendered":"NSWVGA Response to CO-VID 19 &#8211; No 4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>While PM Scott Morrison\u2019s report on his exit strategy out of lockdown on Friday 8 May 2020 gave some hope of sport returning to \u201cnormal\u201d within the next three months, there needs to be several changes to the current restrictions in NSW before the NSWVGA Week of Golf Programme resumes.\u00a0 These are: (in no particular order)<br \/>\u2022 Caravan Parks will need to be fully operational.<br \/>\u2022 Golf Clubs, (Club Houses) will need to be open and functioning to the point where they can accommodate the number of players expected at these events.<br \/>\u2022 Golf Course staff should have time to prepare courses for visitors.<br \/>\u2022 Golfers need to be able to play in groups of 4.<br \/>\u2022 Travel will need to be unlimited, especially for over 70s.<br \/><br \/>Until these restrictions are eased to the point where CEOs and Boards of Directors of Golf Clubs are confident a Week of Golf event is safe and viable the Programme cannot resume.
