The following message has been received from the Rich River Vets:<\/p>\n

Happy New Year 2021. Good riddance to 2020.
Hopefully we will all be able to travel this year after an almost 12 month lockdown.<\/p>\n

Just a short note to NSWVGA to say THANKYOU for the very generous Grassroots competition that was kindly given to Veterans Clubs in NSW last year.<\/p>\n

For our Grassroots event, we made it a mystery event, with a draw for partners.\u00a0 We decided to make this our finale for 2020, in conjunction with our Christmas and normal stableford competition.\u00a0 Everyone was eligible and very happy, with lots of surprises for the participants and overjoyed with the outcome.\u00a0 For some it was a first time win.\u00a0 The winners and grinners are in the photo below.<\/p>\n

We are overjoyed with the response we received last year when we decided it was time for Rich River Golf Club to start up a Veterans Group.\u00a0 We now have over 220 current paid up members and still receiving phone calls for people to join.\u00a0 Certainly was needed in our area for the older generation to have another avenue to play golf and meet new people.\u00a0 Hopefully some of these members will decide to travel around the country and play in the Vets week of golf.<\/p>\n

We wish you all good golfing.\u00a0 Stay safe and healthy.\u00a0 Hope to see you around the traps this year.<\/p>\n
