Unfortunately, our club has taken the difficult decision not to participate in this years Veterans Week of Golf, due to be held from 4-8 April 2022.<\/p>\n
Last year the event was largely organised by my administration team, with the assistance of our former tournament directors.<\/p>\n
Club Narrabri (RSL & Golfie) is currently in the process of amalgamating with Narrabri Bowling Club, which will place a substantial extra workload on our management and staff team.<\/p>\n
Sadly, due to ill health we can\u2019t rely on our former Tournament Directors Robyn Spence and Loretta Bell, which leaves us without the experience and commitment needed to organise the event.<\/p>\n
The current spread of the Covid 19 Omicron variant and the impact that this will have on registrations, has also been a factor that we considered in reaching this decision.<\/p>\n
We deeply regret this decision for 2022, and are hopeful that we may resume our WOG in 2023.<\/p>\n
Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that this has caused.<\/p>\n
