Broken Hill Week of Golf\u00a0<\/strong>
\nLocation Broken Hill Golf Club
\nWeather Cool and cloudy for the first two days fining up on Thursday and a beautiful day on Friday
\nThe Course Considering the rain event that smashed Broken Hill in May and June the green keeper and volunteers did an outstanding job to present the course that was played on.
\nThe Week<\/strong>
\nFirstly, thank you to Broken Hill Golf Club for the use of their golf course and a big thank you to those veterans who have supported this event. They came from the North Coast, South Coast and the Riverina of NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
\nDenis Martin and his hard-working committee provided a great week of golf capped of each day with lunch culminating with a BBQ lunch on the Friday Presentation Day.
\nShotgun starts were the order of the day which allowed for all to mix in the club after the game which is what Veterans golf is about.
\nEvents like this are a must for NSWVGA and it is these events that should be assisted in every way possible to ensure their longevity.
\nAll in all, a great week provided by a very committed committee who went out of their way to ensure that all who attended were well looked after.
