Mudgee Vets WoG report 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mudgee Veterans WoG was held from 12th to 16th of September with 170 golfers registering for the event.
\nThe first two days were very pleasant weather and what was to be a rest day on the Wednesday became the 3rd day of competition when inclement forecast for the Thursday meant that day\u2019s competition was bought forward a day. This required the co-operation of the veteran golfers, local golfers (normally it is the only day they are allowed on the course all week), the green staff & even local wine tour operators. The decision was vindicated when heavy rain fell on Thursday. The course superintendent suspended carts for the Friday 4BBB competition which was then changed to a 2BBB & Stapleford competition for those prepared to walk the course. Great co-operation all round.
\nThere were over 75 players received prize vouchers (apart from any nearest the pin winners).
\nThe NSW Veterans\u2019 Men\u2019s prizes were won by
\n\u2022 1st Chris Burgess (Bonnie Doon)<\/p>\n
