THE YOUNG CHERRY FESTIVAL<\/strong><\/span>
\nVETERANS WEEK OF GOLF<\/strong><\/span>
\n13th to 18th November 2022
\nCourse<\/strong> a composite 18 holes with the 9th, 10th, 15th and 16th out of play. Holes 2, 3, 4 and 5 repeated to make 18 holes. Course re rated so all scores went to golf link. Despite rain the course was in good condition with excellent greens. Preferred lies allowed.
\nWeather
\n<\/strong>Due to predicted rain, 54 hole event reduced to 36 holes. NSWVGA trophy day, 18 holes Thursday.
\n\u00a070mm of rain fell on Sunday night. We all thought that would be the end of the week. But no. Walkers played 10 holes on Monday then carts were allowed on Tuesday so everybody was able to play and again Thursday Friday. Tuesday was cold and there was a good frost Thursday morning to liven up early tee slots. Friday a beautiful day.
