Narrabri Week Of Golf 2023\u00a0<\/strong>

More than 100 golfers descended on the Narrabri Golf Club last week for the annual veterans week of golf.
\nLocal golfer and the 2023 veterans week of golf tournament director Lyn Shearer told The Courier that it was an enjoyable four days at the local club\u2019s pristine 18-hole course.
\n\u201cIt was a really good week,\u201d Shearer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was good weather, and everyone was really happy.
\n\u201cWe had a presentation at the club on Thursday.
\n\u201cEverything went really well.
\n\u201cThe course is looking so good at the moment. It\u2019s never looked better. We had lots of positive comments from the travelling golfers.\u201d
\nShearer thanked Peter Ward, who she said was a huge help in making the week a success.
\nThere were 102 golfers who played across the week, which included 56 men and 46 ladies. There were about 88 on average playing each day.
\nSingle stableford golf was played from Monday to Wednesday, and there was a 54-hole competition for the three rounds.
\nThursday saw the golfers contest a fourball stableford medley.<\/p>\n
