Muree 2023 Trial Week of Golf<\/strong>
\n8th – 12th May
\nMuree\u2019s inaugural Week of Golf \u2013 8th \u2013 12th May 2023<\/strong>
\nTournament Directo<\/strong>r \u2013 Betty Ritchie, and assisted by many volunteers.
\nOur small, but manageable field of 45 came from near and far \u2013 Leongatha, Ballina, Ocean Shores, Tallebudgera, Nelson Bay, Kew, Pacific Dunes, Sussex Inlet, Kurri Kurri, Hawks Nest, Denman, Merriwa, Goulburn, Mundubbera, Inverell, Grafton, Maitland, Muree.
\nPlayers braved a blustery and icy Monday, but had beautiful crisp, sunny autumn days for the rest of the week.
\nNSWVGA rep was Aileen Williams. Week of golf was also attended by John Daley, Dave Flatt and Jim Shadlow.
\nMonday\u2019s 2bbb Stableford event results<\/strong>
\nWinners<\/strong> were Michael Cumming (Muree) and Julie Berick (Kew) with 51 pts
\nSecond place<\/strong> were Dianne and Graeme Boyd (Ocean Shores) with 46 pts
\nRunner ups<\/strong> were Dianne and Jim Shadlow (Inverell) with 42 pts
