Forbes Week of Golf 2023<\/strong>
\n1st – 5th May<\/strong>
\nTournament Director<\/strong> \u2013 Lyn Roberts ably assisted by Beryl Roberts, and supported by a strong Veterans Committee
\nCourse \u2013<\/strong> Excellent condition. A lot of work completed after the floods to enable Veterans to play on a lovely course. Perfect walking conditions.
\nRegistration -Very welcoming. Snacks provided. Vets President Peter Barnes outlined course conditions. TD Lyn Roberts presented players with name tags and tee times for the week and a small gift bag.\u00a0
\nWeather<\/strong> \u2013 Beautiful sunny days. Only 25 min rain shower Tuesday lunchtime.
\nPlayer Numbers<\/strong> -25 Clubs represented.
\n80 Players. 51 Visitors 29 locals.
\nPresentation Dinner<\/strong> \u2013 Thursday night. Delicious and plentiful 2 course meal at Forbes Golf Club. Sponsor\u2019s names laminated onto a placemat, great idea. Daily prizes and 36-hole recipients recognised.
\nCouncillors present<\/strong> \u2013 Life member Richard Doyle and Stu Dossetor.
