\nThe Week<\/strong>
\nOn Sunday a \u201cMeet and Greet\u201d with delicious finger food provided
\nThe weeks numbers were down on last year with many late withdrawals in the last week.\u00a0
\nMorning tea was provided with a BBQ available each day.
\nThe days play rotated between Foster and Tuncurry with both courses in excellent condition. There was great fellowship following each day\u2019s play.
\nThere was a presentation dinner held on the Thursday evening at the Foster Golf club that was well attended by the veteran golfers. The MC for the night was Mick Stone, former NRL referee who had everyone in stitchers throughout the evening. The meal was outstanding.
\nTD Martin and his committee\u00a0 congratulated everyone on a well organised week. From the starters each day to the card inputters and the BBQ cooks the veteran members were a well-oiled team.
\nAll in all, a great week and here\u2019s hoping that the numbers will increase next year by word of mouth from the visitors and promotion by the Foster-Tuncurry vets\u2019 group, well done everyone.<\/p>\n
