Murwillumbah Week of Golf\u00a0 29th <\/sup>\u00a0July to 2nd<\/sup> August<\/strong> Week of Golf 29th August to 2nd September<\/p>\n

Murwillumbah welcomed 128 players from 57 clubs to a week of cool but clear and beautiful days of golf. Monday and Friday were team games (4BBB and 2 person Ambrose respectively) while the NSWVGA Shield were held on Tuesday and Thursday.
\nThe course was in excellent condition thanks to Brian Cox the head greenkeeper and his crew for their work on the course. Also, thanks go to the committee and volunteers who helped run the weeks activities.
\nThanks also goes to Elders Realestate for their sponsorship of the Hole-in-One challenge.
\nJim Shadlow was the NSWVGA representative and provided some valuable advice on running a week of golf for the new tournament director \u2013 thank you Jim.
\nThe 2024 Shield winners were:
\nThe LADIES\u2019 MURWILLUMBAH SHIELD<\/strong> was won by Kathy Weber from Everglades with a score of 77 pts<\/p>\n

The MENS NSWVGA SHIELD<\/strong> was won by Jeff Hogan from Redlands with a score of 74 pts.<\/p>\n

\nThere are multiple place getters as Murwillumbah Vets does not run a countback system.
