Mudgee Vets\u2019 Week of Golf Tournament<\/strong>
\n16 – 20 September 2024<\/strong>
\nTournament Director:<\/strong>
\nJeff Williamson<\/strong> ably assisted by Jim Yeo, Rod Wilson, Bob Colley, Marcia Box and our volunteers who may be small in number but are huge in effort and support. Many of our volunteers offered to stay almost the entire day doing spotting and assisting in any way possible.<\/p>\n

\nHuge congratulations to green-keeper, Jason Seis, who with the assistance from one other staff member produced a course in outstanding condition. Many players commented on the magnificent greens. Due to the recent dry spell of weather, there was plenty of run on the narrow fairways.<\/p>\n

\nThe numbers fluctuated over the course of the week with some slight injuries and illnesses. Quite a few players opted to not participate in the Friday event to ensure an early return home. There were a total of 91 male players and 60 female players.
\nThere were 3 grades for male players and 2 grades for female players on all three days with a medley 4BBB on Friday.<\/p>\n

Registration Day:<\/strong>
\nA \u201cMeet & Greet\u201d session on Sunday afternoon was strongly supported with a free BBQ supplied. The free BBQ remained during play on Monday and Tuesday as the Club Restaurant was not open. It proved extremely popular. The dinner table seating was available and arranged at this time.<\/p>\n

Presentation Dinner:<\/strong>
\nWell attended, with almost 100% attendance. Meal consisted of either roast beef \/ roast chicken alternate and chocolate slice \/ cheesecake slice for dessert.
