Deniliquin 2024 WEEK OF GOLF Report
\nDate 13th to 18th October 2024<\/strong>
\nTournament Director<\/strong>
\nMargie Radeski assisted by an efficient committee: Shandra Simpson, Kathy Simpson, Norm Purtill and Club Captain John Radeski.
\nCourse<\/strong>
\nGreat condition especially considering the flood damage from recent years. The greens were in excellent condition. A credit to staff and volunteers.
\nRegistration<\/strong>
\nMargie, John and Shandra on hand to welcome the players and partners. It was great to introduce new players to returning players.
\nA blue sand bucket with a Deniliquin Golf Club sticker on the side, a stubby holder and homemade biscuits presented to each player. Clever publicity.
\nA BBQ provided for the guests.
\nWeather<\/strong>
\nPerfect for Mon, Tues, Thurs but unfortunately overnight Thursday 45 mls of rain fell onto the course, and it was closed to play Friday morning for the 18-hole NSWVGA Shield event.

\n40 Ladies, 23 local Ladies 31 Men 6 local Men 23 Clubs Represented.

\nClub Captain John Radeski was the MC and Kathy Simpson was on hand to assist.
\nA generous serving of two roast meats and vegetables and a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. Enjoyed by all.

\nA very well-organized friendly week, at a great facility.
\nNoel Hayes from Midlands Golf Club donated a Rovic golf buggy and two golf clubs as well as his poetry books for the raffle which was drawn on Thursday night. Noel has been a generous supporter of this event for a few years now.
