ShoalHaven 2025 Week of Golf<\/strong>
\nThe Shoalhaven Week of Golf was held from the 10th – 14th February.
\nOverall 157 entries were received.
\n\u2022 51 from 8 Mid South Coast Clubs
\n\u2022 91 from 45 Clubs from other areas of NSW
\n\u2022 13 from 6 Clubs in Queensland, and
\n\u2022 2 from 2 Victorian Clubs
\nA number of entrants were forced to cancel, but there were good fields at each venue – 133 in the draw for Shoalhaven Heads, 129 at St Georges Basin, 125 at Worrigee and 122 for Nowra.
\n40% of entrants were women.<\/p>\n

The MSCVGA main event<\/strong> – 36 hole competition was played over the first two days at Shoalhaven Heads and at St Georges Basin, followed by the NSWVGA Shield (18 holes) on the Thursday at Worrigee Links, and the final event was a two person Ambrose played at Nowra.<\/p>\n

The first day\u2019s play was delayed by lightning in the vicinity, and rain continued through the day. A highlight was a Hole in One scored by John Tudor (the secretary of the MSCVGA).<\/p>\n

The remainder of competition was played in good weather, and all four courses were in good condition. Favourable reports were received from the players. It was apparent that the welcome Meet and Greet, presentation luncheon, and light lunches were appreciated also. Thanks go to all the volunteers at each of the courses for making the tournament a success, and to the
\nNSWVGA representatives John Daley (President) and Charlie Swyer (Councillor) for their presence and support during the week.
