Men were in 3 grades and women in 2 grades. No locals played in this event.

Hospitality: Morning tea was provided every morning, our Maclean Women Golfers baking some lovely slices and biscuits also fruit cake went down a treat. The choice of a freshly made sandwich or a sausage sizzle was provided for lunch. On Friday, Presentation lunch was held at the Maclean Bowling Club. A large roast meal, either pork or lamb was enjoyed by all. Marlene and Graham Roberts joined us for lunch, and it was great to see their smiling faces and here their laughter as they caught up with the regulars that they have known for years.

We were extremely lucky with the weather, a quick light shower on Tuesday was all the rain we had for the week.
Raffles were held everyday with prizes being, gift cards, wine and produce hampers and vouchers from our local fish co-op and hotel. At Presentation we had a draw of the cards for free entry into next year’s tournament and this was won by Jennifer Overhall.
More and more players are requiring carts these days, so a big thank you to all the members who supplied theirs, as we have limited number of club carts. We did not have to say no to anyone who requested a seat in a cart.
Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted Mark and Kate during the week and in the preparation and clean up. Geoff Grayson, previous Tournament Director, invaluable help with organising carts and knowledgeable advice was extremely appreciated.
