Uralla Week Of Golf – 26 Apr – 30 Apr 2021

Posted on: 6 May

Held at: Uralla – Tournament Director: Rowan Chandler

Week of Golf Report Uralla 2021

Weather
Initial fog each day was replaced with beautiful golfing weather.

Course.
The course was at its very best. Fairway watering is starting to show how good this course can be. Its layout with testing driving from the tee and pin placements keep you on your toes for the entire round.

Organisation.
TD Rowan Chandler and his hard working committee are to be congratulated for all their hard work that resulted in a week that was enjoyed by all.
Shotgun starts were the order of the day , to small clubs such as Uralla this is a shot in the arm for them financially, with food available after each round with plenty of commaraderie anf frivolity, as everyone gathered in the club at the end of the daily golf.
This year Rowan and his committee was able to procure a new sponsor with New England Solar coming on board.
As Rowan commented at presentation , this was his best year numbers wise and to maintain these numbers is his aim. Get in early for next year then move the following week to Armidale.
