Kew Country Club Week of Golf 2021 Report

• Conducted Oct 31 – Nov 5, 2021
• Approximately 165 attendees (most were returnees) including 15 locals
• Registration (Sunday) was held outdoors for the first time in a beer garden environment with champagne also served. Music added to the atmosphere. Two Covid-19 marshals on duty. Once again, the booklet containing the entire week’s programme handed out on this day was deemed invaluable.
• Two tees used all week. Holes 1 and 10, 7.30 – 8.30am and 11.15 – 11.30pm.
• No daily presentation, results posted the next morning instead. Worked perfectly with much of the pressure taken off the Committee.
• Wednesday’s golf clinics very popular.
• Thursday Night’s Prize Presentation oversubscribed and very popular as always. Beef was exquisite very favourable feedback from all guests. Slide presentation always popular. Music was a great touch.
• Friday’s 4 Person Ambrose very popular and considered by most participants to be the ideal way to complete the week. And this was evidenced by the numbers socialising in the clubhouse after their games whilst saying farewell to their friends until next time.
