Maclean  2022 WOG

The Maclean Veteran Golfers Week of Golf was held from Sunday 17th July to Friday 22nd July 2022
The meet and greet went well with most players registering on the Sunday afternoon. The fields were a bit smaller this year due to flooding and Covid, but there was still 90 players for the week.
A BBQ lunch with a variety of options was available each day at a very reasonable price.
The course was in very wet in places which was roped off but on the whole it was in fair condition especially considering the amount of rain that the coastal courses have received thus far this year.
Monday the weather gods smiled on us with the 4BBB. Players’ partners were decided by the committee. The draw for partners worked well and it was a great surprise if you won a prize. 
Tuesday the wet weather set in but we were able to continue play. Of course Wednesday’s rest day was a lovely day. The rain came back on Thursday and Friday but in short burst.

The NSWVGA Shields were won by husband and wife.
