Report Boggabri Golf Club Vets Weekend of Golf.

The above Weekend of Golf was held 1st and 2nd April at Boggabri Golf Course with fantastic weather and catering for the 26/27 players who attended .
Players came from Wollongong , Richmond NSW , Newcastle , Port Stevens , Tallwood and Grafton. Players were 6 women , three being locals and 21 men with 8 being locals and 13 visitors.
Saturday Mens Winner was Daniel Jones with a score of 36 stableford points followed by Runner Up Robert Collyer on 35 points .
Saturday Ladies Winner was Karen Davis with a score of 46 points followed by Runner Up Wendy Thompson with 32 points .
NTP’s were won by Wendy Thompson on 6th hole , no others for the day and Geoffrey Hobden won Best Second shot to the first tee .
Sundays Mixed 4BBB Stableford was played with 26 players , winners being Paul Ayton and Karen Davis with a score of 45 followed by Jeff Harper and Robyn Traynor with 40 points . NTP on 2,11 was won by Daniel Jones and NTP on 6/15 was Sue Gilchrist . Best Second Shot to the 1st Tee was Daniel Jones for the men and Sue Gilchrist for the Ladies .
Morning Tea was supplied on both days and a Sausage Sizzle on Saturday night and a Barbecue Lunch on Sunday followed by the presentation of prizes and ball winners .
