Weather: Cooler weather with threatened rain that didn’t eventuate

The Week
On Sunday a “Meet and Greet” with delicious finger food provided
The weeks numbers were down on last year with many late withdrawals in the last week. 
Morning tea was provided with a BBQ available each day.
The days play rotated between Foster and Tuncurry with both courses in excellent condition. There was great fellowship following each day’s play.
There was a presentation dinner held on the Thursday evening at the Foster Golf club that was well attended by the veteran golfers. The MC for the night was Mick Stone, former NRL referee who had everyone in stitchers throughout the evening. The meal was outstanding.
TD Martin and his committee  congratulated everyone on a well organised week. From the starters each day to the card inputters and the BBQ cooks the veteran members were a well-oiled team.
All in all, a great week and here’s hoping that the numbers will increase next year by word of mouth from the visitors and promotion by the Foster-Tuncurry vets’ group, well done everyone.
