Mudgee Vets’ Week of Golf Tournament

Jeff Williamson ably assisted by Jim Yeo, Rod Wilson, Bob Colley, Marcia Box, Gary Rush and our volunteers who may be small in number but are huge in effort and support.

Course:
Huge congratulations to green-keeper, Mark Kirkland, who with the assistance from one other staff member produced a course in outstanding condition. Our Course Superintendent was away due to illness. Many players commented on the magnificent greens. There was plenty of run on the narrow fairways.

The numbers fluctuated over the course of the week, there were a total of 80 male players and 43 female players.
There were 2 grades for male and female players on all three days with a medley 4BBB on Friday.

Total of 48 different Clubs.
Registration Day:
A “Meet & Greet” session on Sunday afternoon was strongly supported with a free BBQ supplied. The dinner table seating was available.
Presentation Dinner:
Well attended, with almost 100% attendance. Meal consisted of either roast pork / roast chicken alternate and apple pie / torte for dessert.
