Myall Coast Veterans 2024 Week of Golf.
284 (142 Ladies and 142 Men) players turned out for our 24th annual week of golf to play on the Hawks Nest Golf course which improves every year under the management of our Superintendent Ben Mills and his team of hard working staff.
The week started with quite hot weather and then cooled with some showers on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 220 people attended the dinner and presentation with a delicious meal put on by PK’S Restaurant and served by some of the local lady golfers.
Tea, coffee and slices cooked by some of the Local ladies was available for those with early tee times.
The Shield was contested over two days (Tuesday and Thursday) with the men’s nett winner being Anthony Salkeld from the Richmond Golf club who scored total 77.
The Ladies Shield nett winner was Michele Campion from Kiama Golf Club who scored 73
Ladies Scratch winner was Jenny of Delaney Singleton Golf Club who scored 32
Mens Scratch winner was Bill MacDonald of Port Macquarie Golf Club who scored 59
