Blue Mountains 2024 Week of Golf

The Blue Mountains Week of Golf for those vets over 55 years of age was a huge success attracting golfers from far and wide.

Three of the four games were played at Lithgow and the other at Leura with high praise being bestowed on the Lithgow course especially the greens.
A big thanks was extended to the Lithgow volunteers who had earlier weeded the clubhouse gardens and entrance with the clubhouse also gaining many compliments.
The Blue Mountains Week of Golf main organisers were Lithgow’s Brian Giblett and Brian Judge who are the driving force behind the BMGA and a dinner and presentation was held at the golf club and a big thanks goes to chef Pete and his staff for their efforts.

Brian Giblett introduced Sydney Veteran’s secretary Aileen Williams who congratulated all the players who had participated during the week and then helped out with the presentations.

The top awards for the week went to Lithgow’s Brian Judge who took out the shield for the aggregate score for the week again showing his consistency.

Day 3 at Lithgow:
