Registration. There was no registration however all participants were advised of their tee times for the week via email.

Lyn and her committee have worked tirelessly over the weeks leading into this week of golf. The week ran smoothly with a friendly welcome each morning and an outstanding morning tea provided each day.
The numbers were down on last year. What has contributed to this could be a number of factors, their position has changed from the beginning of the New England and Northwest circuit to the last event in that circuit, veterans are not committing to multiple events because of the economic climate, veterans travelling North after Moree. This will be looked at along with next year’s date.
The course was at its very best as it was used as a qualifying round of the ladies PGA just prior to this event.
A very successful presentation Luncheon was held on the Friday where the majority of winners were present to receive their trophies.
All in all, a very enjoyable and successful week.
The only downer for the week was that Lyn has indicated she will be stepping down from the TD’s position and her successor is yet to be named. There is a repositioning of staff at the golf club and when this is settled the position of TD will be discussed.
To Lyn , thank you very much for your time and efforts over the last three years.
