Bear Cottage
For the last 15 years at each of Griffith’s Week of Golf there is a challenge against a live bear in which you will win a ticket in a raffle for a bear, (pictured below with John Daley,) if you have a better score then the bear. unfortunately if the bear beats you, then you have to buy a ticket for the bear. This is carried on each day of the WOG

The winner of the Bear  (TV generously donated by Yvonne and Noel Hayes ) is unknown, but more importantly it looks at this stage that over $1600 has been raised. Congratulations and well done to those that contributed to this deserving cause.

At Bear Cottage, life is for living
Bear Cottage is an uplifting and inspiring place where life is celebrated, lived to its fullest and fondly remembered. What matters most at Bear Cottage is that every child and their family enjoys time together to the fullest and is given opportunities to create special memories and receive support.

They care for children from across Australia and from all walks of life and cater for the entire family. Their team works closely with each family throughout the care of their child and ongoing bereavement support.

They have  set up to provide excellence in paediatric palliative care 24 hours a day, and because they are part of The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network they have access to some of the best medical resources in the world.

We will see you at Griffith’s 2025 Week Of Golf
