Veteran’s Week of Golf Final Day and presenation.
The New England veteran’s week of golf concluded today with an American foursome. This was followed by lunch and presentation.
The winners of the main event, the NSWVGA trophy and 36-hole stableford, were Carmel Downton from Callala Country Golf Club, Jervis Bay, and Steve Kent from Inverell. They finished with 71 and 74 points respectively.

Runners up were Sharen Manwarring, Ballina, and Michael Mabey, Tuggerah Lakes.

Scratch winners and runners up were Sandy Cook, Inverell, and Sharen Carberry, Ballina, for the women and Craig Hams, Leongatha, Victoria, and Gordon Newton, Ballina.
