The 3-day Kiama Seaside Veterans Tournament was conducted in the last week of November, the penultimate event on the NSWVGA 2025 Week of Golf Calendar.
A maximum field of 120 players, 70 men and 50 women, from 37 clubs, competed enjoying good weather conditions and a well-prepared golf course. A shotgun start was used each day thus escaping the warmer afternoon conditions. Feedback was very positive and players appreciated the many spotters and helpers spread throughout the course each day, as well as the complimentary drink voucher issued each day.
NSWVGA Secretary Aileen Williams was among the competitors and said she thoroughly enjoyed the tournament. Aileen spoke at the Thursday afternoon presentation and presented the NSWVGA awards.
As per NSWVGA policy, players could only win one prize in the 54 holes single events, with the highest value trophy ($200) going to the winners of the 36-hole Stableford on the Tuesday and Thursday.
