Yamba veterans held their Christmas golf party and AGM at Yamba Golf and Country Club on December 1.

. A full field of players contested an American Foursome event before sitting down to a scrumptious lunch that consisted of alternate drops of turkey and ham baked dinners with a follow up dessert.
The AGM was held in conjunction with the meal and a new committee formed to operate in 2026.
Yamba has struggled over the past years and it is very heartening to see that Yamba Veterans has, once again , elected a strong full committee for the coming year.
President Bill Granger was re elected President , Maiva Burnham, Secretary/ Treasurer and Kevin Lowe Captain along with a good supporting team.
President of NSWVGA John Daley and his wife Lee were guests for the day. John outlined NSWVGA strategies to be introduced to better serve the club veteran golfer who is not able to attend weeks of golf or group open days.
