Playing Numbers
Each day, the number playing was near optimum of 132 golfers. One third of the field were women. Of the 154 Entries (counting withdrawals ) 50 were from the Shoalhaven ( ie Group 2 – Mid South Coast VGA), 94 from other NSW regions, 9 from Queensland and one Victorian. The predominant club featured was Sussex Inlet with 23 starters, followed by Cootamundra with 10.
