Deniliquin 2025 Week of Golf

DENILIQUIN WEEK OF GOLF 13TH TO 17TH OCTOBER 2025

Tournament Director: Margaret Radeski assisted by John Radeski, Jen Choice, Ross Pogonoski and Shandra Simpson. Deniliquin Vets supported the event.
Course: Good coverage considering such a very small amount of rainfall throughout the year. Greens very good.
Registration: 4pm to 6pm Sunday afternoon. Raffle tickets sold for major raffle with TV set donated by Noel and Yvonne Hayes. A Deniliquin sand bucket, homemade biscuits and a mixture of golf ball, ball wash, club cleaners amongst the extras.
A sausage sizzle and coleslaw available to players.
Weather: Fine weather all week. Tuesday very warm but other days lovely Spring weather.
Player Numbers: Males 31, Locals 7. Females 34, Locals 22.
Morning Tea: Tea and coffee and freshly made biscuits available each morning.
Clubs Represented: 24 from NSW, Vic and Qld.
Presentation Luncheon: This year the Presentation took the form of a Friday lunch after the NSWVGA Shield day. The meal was excellent, organized by Veteran golfer volunteers. Deniliquin golf course is a great venue and has many varied accommodation options for visitors.
