Southern Highlands 2025 WOG
SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS VETERAN GOLFERS ASSOCIATION
35h annual WEEK OF GOLF – NOVEMBER 10TH TO 14TH 2025

Scrollable

The SHVGA 35th week of golf had on average 120 players each day playing some very good golf at four very well presented courses.
In all 126 players registered from 44 individual golf clubs from Queensland, Victoria and NSW. The ACT also well represented.
The weather was very kind, with sunny days throughout the week. The wind did come into play particularly at Bowral.
My apologies to those who had to be moved around to satisfy a high demand for golf carts, but it all worked out in the end with most catered for.
We have a great committee in the Southern Highlands, and I would like to thank them for the fantastic work they put into the lead up and during the event.
I would also like to thank the staff at Highlands, Bowral, Moss Vale and Gibraltar golf clubs who went the extra mile to help us in so many ways.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
The tournament was conducted as a three day event with a NSWVGA SHIELD for both men and ladies as the ultimate prizes. As a result, and in accordance with NSWVGA policy No.2 re the conduct of WOG events and in the spirit of sharing good fortune, participants could only win one major prize during the event and in cases where they won more than one prize, were awarded the one of higher value.
